I'm Gyöngyi, a certified teacher of Hungarian as a foreign language.
For years I've been helping students from all over the world become more confident Hungarian speakers.

How does it work?
1️⃣ Book your Practice Sessions
Complete your booking securely online.
Once your payment is confirmed, you'll receive access to my online booking calendar. ( Hungarian Speaking Club members receive a separate email after joining the Club with a link to book their discounted Practice with Gyöngyi Online sessions.)
2️⃣ Choose a time that works for you
Simply select the dates and times that suit you best.
You'll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom meeting link, password and all the information you need for your session.
3️⃣ Let's practise Hungarian together!
At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Zoom and practise Hungarian in a relaxed, supportive environment.
During the lesson, I'll take notes in your personal Google document, where we'll collect useful vocabulary, corrections and important grammar points.
4️⃣ Continue learning after the lesson
After each session, you'll receive access to your personal Google Drive folder.
There you'll find:

🎥 A recording of the session (if requested)
This allows you to review everything we've covered and continue practising whenever you like.

If you have a question, something you don't understand or a grammar point that's confusing you, please bring it to the session. We'll clear up any confusion together.
If there's a specific topic you'd like to talk about, simply email Gyöngyi before your lesson, and she'll prepare activities and questions around that topic for your next session.
If you don't have a particular topic in mind, don't worry! Gyöngyi will guide you through relaxed, natural conversations designed to help you practise and improve your Hungarian.
Yes — if you'd like.
I'm happy to record our session and share the recording with you afterwards. This allows you to review our conversation, repeat new vocabulary and expressions, revisit grammar corrections, and continue practising in your own time.
The recording is completely optional and will only be made if you request it.

The main goal of our sessions is to help you become a more confident Hungarian speaker.
That means we'll spend most of our time speaking Hungarian.
How?
Simply by having conversations.
Depending on your goals, we can:
chat about everyday topics,
focus on a specific topic you'd like to practise,
or work through your questions and any difficulties you've encountered while learning Hungarian.
As we talk, I will take notes in your personal Google document, including useful vocabulary, grammar corrections and pronunciation tips.
After the lesson, you'll find these notes in your personal Google Drive folder, so you can review everything whenever you like.
There are no tests and no pressure—just relaxed, supportive conversations designed to help you speak Hungarian more naturally and confidently.
Yes.
You can reschedule your sessions as many times as you need, provided you choose another available time in Gyöngyi's booking calendar.
Please note that same-day changes are not possible. If you'd like to reschedule, you can do so until 6:00 AM (Central European Time) on the day of your session.
Your two Practice with Gyöngyi Online sessions must be used within two months of your purchase.
This helps ensure that you keep your learning momentum and that appointment times remain available for everyone.
